Why do we call our
models “water curators”?
The etymology of curator is borrowed from Latin cūrātor: “the one who looks after, the guardian”, from curare, “to watch over, to take care”.
Same as “museum curators”, “digital curators”, “biocurators”, …, our models do operate as “water curators” along with these same very particular processes of acquiring, caring, and carefully bringing back to our drinking water its lost optimal natural state.
Water is our unique heritage from nature, but it is mistreated by the many pipes, chemicals, and invasive treatments it goes through before reaching us, and it loses its original energy and soul characteristics on the way.
Maeka water curators are designed to be the keepers of our heritage. Not only does the Fontaine Mélodia purifies but it re-energises the water and re-infuses the missing natural elements such as trace minerals, light and sound into our drinking water.

How do we
bio-purify water?
We combine a carefully chosen mix of filtration processes to ensure the finest purity of water according to the water source:
A sediment filtration performs microfiltration. It removes the physical particles suspended in water as well as some micro-organisms bigger than 5 microns in size.
A filtration with activated carbon acts as a remarkable catalyst for purification. It removes pollutants including chlorine, hydrocarbons, pesticides and heavy metals by way of absorption.
A final filtration is added according to the quality of the water source:
A reverse osmosis (RO) filtration when the water source TDS is >300ppm.
An extremely fine semi-porous membrane (0.0001 microns) removes bacteria, heavy metals, pesticides, medical residues, salt, limestone, etc. which are rejected along with a certain proportion of the tap water. This keeps the membrane from getting clogged.
OR
An Ultrafiltration (UF) technology is preferred when the water source TDS is < 300ppm. With its filtration fineness of up to 0.01 um, it holds a remarkably high adsorption capacity for chemical contaminants and removes more than 99% of bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms.
Eco-friendly technology: the ultrafiltration generates 0% water wastage.
What is the bio-dynamisation®
process that re-energises water?
The water we receive in our homes gathers on its way not only various bacterial, viral and chemical pollutants, but also undergoes heavy invasive cleaning processes like city-municipal filtration or chlorination which results in the loss of vitality and energy that natural water carried.
As a result, water becomes harder to assimilate by the body for its various functions.
Our unique patented Bio-dynamisation® treatment re-dynamises and restructures the source water by infusing specific electromagnetic waves identified as high frequencies and earth’s frequencies in a finely calibrated process, which transmits subtle energies to re-energise the links between the oxygen and hydrogen poles and bring water to its original coherence.
Two electrodes made of a specific-grade mix of silver & copper continuously transmit this electromagnetic field into the treated water, releasing in the same time ions of silver and copper trace elements for an improved quality of the water.
This brings about an immediate change of taste, texture and lightness in the water which can be recognized in the very first sip.

bring to water?
It brings three essential things: better vibration, the element of sunlight and chosen information through sound. This patented technology succeeds in informing water with the elements of sunlight and sound to take it to a new height of vibration, energy and wellbeing.
When water regains its lost natural values such as sunlight, good vibrations and vitality, it optimizes our body’s organ functions and the assimilation of nutrients and energy by all biological receptors.
In its natural state, water responds to the vibratory resonance of sunlight and sound, which are two major carriers of information in our living environment. To re-capture nature’s breath of life, Maeka’s Light & Sound® re-information process infuses the water with a combination of light and low sound frequencies carried by far infrared beams.
This enables water to reach its peak vitality which was lost in our water’s usual journey from its source to our homes.
Western classical music is infused by default in the Fontaine Mélodia for its harmonious qualities, but you can choose the music or sound that you may have an affinity for to inform your water by inserting a pen drive in the USB plug on the left side of the fountain.
Why do Maeka curators
add trace minerals?
Bio-dynamised water has an enhanced capacity to absorb trace elements. Our treatment directly supplements the water with essential trace elements that are vital for optimal body functions. In an ionic nascent state, trace elements become immediately assimilable by our body.
These trace elements associated with the bio-dynamisation® process balance the physio-chemical properties (such as PH, RH2, resistivity, power quantification) into an ideal composition for the human body.
A particular grade of silver and copper blend is the standard mix. Gold addition comes as an option.
Copper holds antiviral and antibacterial properties, gold supports heart health and silver is bactericide. This specific blending generates a natural antiviral action and helps recovery.
This also enables water to stay good longer and prevents bacterial recontamination without any need for chlorine or additional chemical purification.
What is the difference between
Maeka and other purified waters?
Maeka not only purifies water through state-of-the-art filtration, but also gives it back its original rejuvenating qualities which it had in nature.
- The bio-dynamisation process infuses a high subtle energy into the water, using specific frequencies and vibration as biological waves, restoring all living properties of water.
- To raise the vibrational quality of water, sound vibrations are streamed into the water via music or a chosen playlist on a USB drive. As already demonstrated, water absorbs and responds to the vibration it is exposed to (see Dr. Masaru Emoto work). Consuming water which is high in its vibrational quality is beneficial on many levels.

How does it help to restore

When it is boiled, Maeka water loses some of its energy but is still very pure and high-quality water with no chemical pollutants or drug residues.
The bio-dynamisation preserves the benefits and flavors of food and drinks.
It is ideal for cooking our vegetables and starches.
Do I need to boil Maeka
water before drinking?
No. It is not needed nor recommended to boil Maeka waters before drinking.
The Maeka purification / filtration processes remove pollutants, heavy metals, bacteria, chlorine, virus, pesticides, nitrates and excess dissolved solids making your water safe and easy to drink.
What is the best way to use
and store Maeka water?
- We recommend using and storing Maeka water in glass or ceramic utensils and containers.
- Do not expose the container to direct sunlight, keep it at room temperature preferably.
- Maeka water can be refrigerated.
- Maeka water can be used for cooking and hot drinks in any kind of utensils, whatever the home or kitchen prefers.
- Maeka water is great to have first thing in the morning straight from the machine. Ideally at least 15 minutes before first food.
How long can we
conserve Maeka water?
Held in a protected environment and appropriate containers, Maeka water can stay good for 2 months. But in general, we recommend drinking the water within a week to get maximum benefits.
How much water can the
Fontaine Mélodia give in a day?
- The Fontaine Mélodia is designed for domestic use for a home or office of 15-20 people easily.
- It can give an average of 20 to 25 liters of water in an hour.
When should I change my filters?
The frequency of filter maintenance depends on the water quality of your water supply network and the volume of water treated.
Your authorized local sales contact will advise you on the adequate maintenance scheme that fits your needs.
Usually, urban water needs a biannual filter change for certain filters and annual changes for some. Your local sales contact will ensure this on a timely basis post purchase.
Do Maeka curators come
in bigger size model?
- Maeka curators covers a wide range of models designed for institutions, hotels, restaurants, factories, industries, villages, etc.. that can cater between 200 liters per hour up to 2000 liters per hour.
- Many Chefs claim the lightness of Maeka water.
- Bakers especially enjoy that the leaven becomes more active when making the bread.
How do Maeka curators act
for green and environment?
- Maeka curators are designed based on a circular life-circle approach.
- All models are made of highest quality material and built to last
- The use of plastic is reduced to its minimum and most of the materials used are recyclable and reusable.
- Plastic bottles can be avoided with every of Maeka models.
What do I need to start
the Fontaine Mélodia?
- A single grounded electrical outlet (220V – 24 DC/3A) is required.
- A water outlet (from 0,5 to max 3 bars)
- A drain outlet (for the reverse osmosis filtration option)
- Fontaine Mélodia can be placed on a tabletop or wall mounted.
Can I switch OFF the light and still
get bio-dynamised water?
Absolutely. Some of you may want to switch OFF the light during nighttime for example. Just switch OFF the upper button on the left side of the Fontaine Mélodia and keep the middle one ON to keep the curator running.
How long is the warranty?
The warranty of the Fontaine Mélodia is 12 months from the date of the original purchase – Please see detailed Warranty Conditions.
